Thomas joined Baird in October of 2020 alongside Bill Johnson and Neal Davidson. He passed all of the regulatory exams in 2021. Since then he has attained his CFP®, Certified Financial Professional designation and is now Financial Advisor on the Johnson Davidson Lawton Team. Thomas aims to develop productive and personal relationships with new and existing clients over the coming years.
Thomas is originally from Manchester, England where his parents and 2 brothers still reside. At the age of 19, he earned his way over to the United States of America to attend Jacksonville State University on a scholarship to play Division one golf. After four years of college golf and earning a degree, he immediately joined the golf business as a professional golfer at Boonsboro Country Club in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Thomas and his wife, Danielle, got married in the Spring of 2018 and have three young children, Elliott, Harvey and Finn. The Lawton family enjoy activities such as golf, tennis and soccer.
For community work Thomas is a board member for Mustache for Kid (M4K). Based in central Virginia, it is a charity focused on raising money in the month of November for children in need. He also helps run the Meals on Wheels golf tournament committee.
